J. Scott Penny, Chief Acquisitions Officer of Brown & Brown, Inc., along with David Dybdahl and Cynthia Statz, owners of American Risk Management Resources Network, LLC (ARMR), recently announced that Brown & Brown, a national insurance intermediary, Inc.’s subsidiary, Bridge Specialty Group, has acquired the assets of ARMR.

ARMR is a specialty wholesale environmental insurance brokerage that partners with producers nationwide. With its team of experts, ARMR offers in-depth knowledge of environmental risks and tailored insurance solutions.

The firm will continue to operate from its Madison, Wisconsin location under the leadership of President Kari Kohal.

Dybdahl will remain with ARMR, focusing on creating new products and sharing his expertise in environmental risks and insurance through educational programmes.

Both Kohal and Dybdahl will report to Walter Grote, Chief Underwriting Officer and Central Regional President of Bridge Specialty Group.
